We had another full day - the last full day for many in our group since they are leaving tomorrow morning. We had another medical clinic at "New Jerusalem" where we saw another 200 or so patients. Some were back from Monday, when we were there, to get needed medicines we had run out of on Monday. My youngest patient was 3 days old and my oldest patient, I think, was 95. Dr. Dan worked the pharmacy with his translator Josue. Dental saw another 100 patients or so (Dr. Jeff worked in construction today). Construction put finishing touches on the houses, roofs and freshly poured cement floors. The new owners of the homes are beaming with joy and thankfulness to God and all of the support we and YOU have given. Benevolence handed out final food bags, clothes and Bibles. VBS workers spent time with the children and played games with them. 7 water filters were built and Thursday the rest are to be put together. Josh had the Hondurans with him totally complete #7 water filter - and they did an excellent job.
Today was a full day. The THIRD bus broke down on us today. We ended up riding to the sites inside of a truck with our supplies, a very bumpy hot ride. Construction has pretty much completed most of the two houses now - need to work on windows and concrete floors yet. Josh has the water filters ready to assemble with washed sand and gravel. VBS saw another 150 or so - at the "New Jerusalem" church building and taught Daniel in the Lion's Den. Benevolence bagged up another 203 bags and delivered part of them - more to be delivered later. The medical team saw about 200 patients and dental saw 80 or so patien

Monday - Today the medical team went to the "New Jerusalem" area. There we had a mobile clinic - medical and dental. Medical saw 223 patients. Pav and Casey worked in the pharmacy once again and filled over 700+ prescriptions!!! Dental saw 60 patients - several with much more detailed work and needs than just pulling teeth. VBS worked in another area and 203 food bags were handed out there. Construction has the roof nearly finished on one house, the floors are leveled - ready for the concrete to be poured, and some windows and doors are completed. Josh is busy with the water filters and sand washing. We have a new brother in Christ!!! Marvin (a Honduran who has worked with us as interpreter and driver for several years) was baptized into Christ today!!! Praise God!!!
Sunday we went to "New Jerusalem" church - a building we built a view years ago that they have since added onto - including a building for children's classes. There Rilla, Ginger and a lot of helpers taught the story of Noah and the Ark. The children LOVED it! They enjoyed the story, animal "puppets" that they received and the activities of coloring, bracelet making and singing. (Robin in photo is making sure Jeff is listening to the story).
Josh, Greg, Galen and Moses returned from Valle Bonita with uplifting stories about how well the water filters were doing that were built in January. Some are planning to play soccer tonight with Honduran friends and SOME of us plan to relax!
